Just Right Driving School Terms & Conditions (Weekly Driving Lessons)

Driving License and Fitness to Drive

You must hold a current, valid driving license, provisional, full or international and produce it on your first training session. You must be fit to drive with regard to legal and medical requirements.

Only one Special Offer will be granted per pupil.

Driving Lessons Paid By phone

Following receipt of a fully paid order for driving lessons, an instructor will contact you within 24 hours to arrange driving lessons, unless you are already taking lessons with us. If this is the case the lessons will be credited to your account.

The Driving Instructor

Is a self-employed independent driving instructor and all lessons booked with him/her introduced through Just Right constitute an agreement between the instructor and the pupil. Just Right Driving School will not be held liable for any disputes or refunds.

Block Bookings & Refunds

Must be paid for in advance to receive a discount. If you pre pay a block booking and come to the conclusion you do not require the lessons, you will be refunded the remaining money that hasn’t been used for lessons. There must be 48 hours notice, if you give less than the required 48 hours notice, late cancelled lessons will still be deducted from the refunded amount. Block booking funds must be used within 6 months of the payment date. Any requests for refunds or lessons after this term will be rejected. If you require a refund before your block booking ends, you will be charged full price, not the block booking discounted price for the lessons taken. You cannot sell or transfer driving lessons which have been purchased in your name to any other person.

Lesson Cancellations

Must be made 48 hours before the time of the lesson or the normal lesson fee will be charged, a doctors note can be provided. The instructor reserves the right to cancel a lesson at short notice if it is suspected that the pupil may be unfit to drive due to the effects of alcohol, drugs (prescribed or otherwise) or any other condition that would cause his/her driving to be illegal. In such circumstances the lesson fee will be payable. Your instructor reserves the right to postpone lessons in certain circumstances i.e. dangerous weather conditions, mechanical breakdown or illness. In the event of postponement, fees paid in advance will be carried forward.

Driving Tests

The instructor reserves the right to withdraw their car for tests without notice should the pupil prove not to be of a test standard. While your instructor will make every effort to ensure that the vehicle supplied for test will be fully road worthy and comply with all legal requirements at the start of the test, he/she cannot be held responsible for vehicle failure that occurs during the test and is not liable for consequential loss. Your instructor cannot be held responsible for test appointments cancelled by the DSA due to bad weather, sickness, staff shortages or other reasons. Such cancellations are beyond the control of your instructor and therefore the lesson fee and 'use of car' fee for the booked period will be charged. Your instructor will advise you about claiming compensation from the DSA.
